The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Estacado Lady Mats this past Tuesday at home for their second district game of the season where they won in a backand- forth battle 50-44.

Antelopes take down Smyer Bobcats at home

The Whiteface Antelopes had little trouble with the visiting Smyer Bobcats in a 71-30 UIL District 5-2A high school boys’ basketball win on Friday.The Antelopes hit eight three point shots, four of which came from Jeremiah Rendon. Ethan Kauffman hit one and Isaak Soliz had the other three.

Levelland Lobos handle Sundown Roughnecks at home

The Levelland Lobos hosted the Sundown Roughnecks for their last non-district matchup before district play where the Lobos beat Sundown 79-39, at home.At the start of the game Levelland took control fast as they outscored Sundown 23-13 in a high scoring game.

Loboettes open district play with dominating win

The Levelland Loboettes hosted the San Angelo Lake View Maidens this past Friday night at home for their district opener where the Loboettes won, 76-9.The first quarter of the game had Levelland holding the Maidens scoreless taking a 9-0 lead going into the second quarter of the game.

MID-RANGE SHOT - Whiteface Antelope Auscar Gandara pulled up from mid-range to earn the Antelopes some needed points in the team’s game against the Farwell Steers. The Antelopes next game of the season is against the Plains Cowboys on the road at 7:30 p.m. for their district matchup. The Ropesville Lady Eagles competed in the Caprock Tournament this past week where they finished the tournament going 2-2.Ropes 35, Jacksboro 52For the Lady Eagles first game of the tournament they went against the Jacksboro Lady Tigers where they lost 52-35.

The Morton Indians competed in a tournament this past week where they went 2-2 overall.Morton 54, MKCA 83For the start of the tournament the Indians had to face-off against the McKinney Christian Academy Mustangs where Morton lost 83-54.
