Ropes take down Sunray in two games
AREA CHAMPS - The Sundown Roughnecks beat the Wellington Skyrockets in two games in their series to become the Area Champions this past Friday and Saturday. The beat Wellington the first game 10-3 then dominated the second game by beating them 19-5. The Roughnecks are mocing onto their Reginal Quarterfinal round against the New Home Leopards this Thursday at Frenship at 4 p.m.
REGIONAL QUARTERFINAL CHAMPS - The Morton Indians took on the Claude Mustangs this past Thursday night at Wayland Baptist University for their Regional Quarterfinal Round of playoffs where the Indians won in two games. The first game they won 11-4 and the second game they won 9-4. The Indians are taking on the Nazareth Swifts this upcoming Thursday and Friday at Littlefield High School. TIME FOR FAMILY - Following her 40-year career teaching and coaching, Nelda Munoz stated she is ready to focus on her family and spend more time with her children and grandchildren.
