SPC letter of interest deadline, Oct. 3

The South Plains College (SPC) Board of Regents are still accepting letters of interest with the intent to fill the Position Two vacancy spot within the group through the appointment process.The board is now accepting letters of interest for the position until October 3 at 4 p.m.

Voter registration deadline Oct. 7

The October 7 deadline is approaching for the for the November Election.The deadline is 30 days prior to the November 5 election which means community members must be registered by that day and the office must have a correct address by that day.

TAB releases economic impact study results

The Texas Association of Business (TAB) recently unveiled a comprehensive economic impact study conducted by Angelou Economics, detailing the significant financial benefits of carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) projects across 12 counties in Texas.

DPS offers iWatchTexas reminder

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) is reminding Texans this week of the iWatchTexas program—a critical resource the public can use to report suspicious activity or behavior in their schools and communities—ahead of National “If You See Something, Say Something” Awareness Day on Sept. 25.
