HTeaO celebrates one year in Levelland

HTeaO located in Levelland will be celebrating their one year anniversary beginning Monday with special deals for each day until August 2.

Owners Ashley and Brian Becton shared their thanks for the continued support from Levelland community members along with those who visit their business from surrounding communities.

“We have learned a lot this past year with ups and downs,” said Brian. “We have enjoyed seeing the people of Levelland Hockley County.”

For Ashley, she noted the many connections made with community members as they have become familiar faces.

Since bringing HTeaO to Levelland, the Becton’s have held the importance of making the customers’ day better when they visit.

Highlighting the customer experience, Brian shared that he was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the staff he was able to bring on when they first started hiring.

“Coming into it, the fear was wondering how we were going to get enough help or is it going to be good help,” explained Brian. “The staff we have hired from Levelland and the surrounding communities has been great.”

Employing around 25 to 30 kids either in high school or attending college, the Becton’s have the goal of providing a great environment to work in while also setting high expectations for them.

For sisters Ximena and Sarai Lucero, the duo has been working at HTeaO since they opened. The sisters shared their appreciation for the working environment as this has been their first job.

For the Becton’s, their daughters Kambryn, Kynslie and Kyleigh have been able to gain useful work experience at HTeaO. As the youngest daughter, Kambryn has taken the role of selling tea and being the customer’s sunshine. Kynslie enjoys preparing a wide variety of teas and other drinks for customers as the job is something different. For Kyliegh, while working with some of her best friends, she added that it did not matter who she worked with as the environment is always great.

“We always remind them that we cannot be a blessing to the customer if the vibe is not good within these walls,” said Ashley. “They are fully aware of that, they are responsible and have been great.”

While the goal is to provide excellent customer service, Brian hopes that any customer who feels that their service was not up to par will contact Ashley or himself.

“We want to be a step above. If anything is ever wrong we hope that individual will reach out to us directly. We want to fix things and it is important to ensure that the customer has a better day simply because they visited us.”

In offering excellent customer service, the Bectons noted that customers who fill five-gallon water jugs can get their water at HTeaO. Using reverse osmosis (RO) water, it is the same water used for all of their ice machines and brewed teas.

To celebrate their one year anniversary, HTeaO will be having 15% off all Yeti products from July 28 - Aug. 3. A buy one get one free deal for coffees and teas will be going from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday through Friday. A two for $10 deal for gallons of tea will be all day on Aug. 2-3. On Aug. 2, an all day celebration will include food trucks, treats for kids, two gallons for $10 and free cookies for customers.
