The Smyer Lady Cats hosted the Sundown Roughettes this past Tuesday night for district play where the Lady Cats won 6553.In the first quarter of the game, Sundown took control of the game fast after their defense was on point as they outscored Smyer 14-4, going into the second quarter.

The Levelland Loboettes completed their sweep of the San Angelo Lake View Maidens this past Friday on the road after they won 73-12.In the first quarter it was all Levelland as their defense didn’t allow a score while they outscored the Maidens 27-0, going into the second quarter of the game.

Levelland Lobos fall to Lake View Chiefs in Overtime

The Levelland Lobos took on the San Angelo Lake View Chiefs this past Friday night for district play where the Lobos lost in overtime 61-53.In the first quarter of the game, Levelland was outscored by the Chiefs 13-9 in a close battle, then were outscored 14-12 in the second quarter.

They competed at Brownfield on Saturday and the Lobos brought home a 5th place, where the Loboettes brought home second place. First-place medal winners were Zaden Carrillo, Alex Salinas, Allison Monge, Emmina Collins, and Naylea Saucedo. Salem Bailey brought home a second-place medal.

Antelopes lose to Morton on buzzer-beater

The Whiteface Antelopes hosted the Morton Indians in district play last Tuesday night where they lost in a close buzzerbeater 43-42.The start of the game had the Indians taking the four-point lead with the score sitting at 12-8, going into the second quarter.
