Hockley County Grand Jury Incictiments

The Hockley Grand Jury sent down 10 indictments on April 22.-Christopher Benites, 33, charged with possession of controlled substance; true bill.-Matthew Barrientez,37, charged with possession of controlled substance and soliciting prostitution/other payor; true bill on both charges.

The Levelland City Council is seeking applicants for the council seat representing District B.That seat has been vacant since the passing of Council Member Max Ledesma in March. District B is primarily in the northwest area of Levelland.Potential applicants must be qualified voters in District B.
