5/12/25 - 9:45 P.M. - LEVELLANDThe LFD were dispatched to the 900 block of Robin Road in regard to a gas odor at a residence. Units arrived on scene and ran the tri gas monitor. Atmos arrived on scene and the scene was released to them.5/7/25 – 10 A.M.

5/25/25-HOCKLEYCOUNTYA deputy was advised by dispatch to dispatch to the 1600 block of Ave T in regards to harassment.5/14/25-HOCKLEYCOUNTYDispatch advised a deputy to respond to Smyer School in reference to burglary of a vehicle.
FOOD - Mr. Hill's Entrepreneur LHS students finished their semester by creating their own Food Truck. Students first had to create a comprehensive plan that outlined business goals, strategies, and financial projections. They had to use marketing skills learned this year to develop strategies to reach target customers, build brand recognition, and drive sales. NATIONAL FINALIST - Sundown ISD has announced that Mr. Miguel Salazar, Principal of Sundown Middle School, has been selected as one of three finalists nationwide for the National Middle School Principal of the Year Award, presented by the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP).
A HELPING HAND - Jeremiah Gavina and Jerald Massie of Massie Roofing volunteered their services to help a Levelland citizen receive a new roof. Iris is a lesser known goddess from Greek mythology. Her claim to fame came from having the supposed ability to generate rainbows, which enabled her to travel quickly between realms. Her primary role was to carry messages of hope for better things to come, to other kingdoms.
