Supreme Court to consider birthright citizenship

The U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments on Wednesday to consider an executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship.The case challenges whether President Trump’s directive complies with the 14th Amendment’s Citizenship Clause and federal immigration law enacted in 1952.

Hancock reports $4B in sales tax revenue

Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock today reported that sales tax revenue totaled $4 billion in March, 10% more than in March 2025.The majority of March sales tax revenue is based on sales made in February and remitted to the agency in March.
