With President Trump making mass deportations a centerpiece of his presidential campaign, ICE has been active in Texas with the complete approval of Gov. Greg Abbott and Texas Legislature who passed laws to aid the federal agents.

SPC to offer Spring 2026 quilting orientation class

South Plains College will offer a quilting orientation class at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 27 in Room 121 of the Technical Arts Building on the Levelland campus. During orientation night, a few quilts will be available for viewing.Weekly afternoon and evening classes will be available starting Feb. 9.
