The Hockley County Sheriff’s Office received a report of someone going by a residence on N. Hwy 385 claiming to be a code enforcement officer and requesting to do an inspection.The subject was described a black male, middle aged, bald, beard with grey hair and approximately 6’2.

Whiteface ISD students make Macy’s Parade

Two Whiteface students and members of the Whiteface Marching Band have the rare opportunity to march with the High School All American Band at the Macy’s Day Parade on Nov. 27.

King offers updates at Town Hall

As a part of his regular House District 88 tour, State Rep. Ken King held a town hall meeting on Wednesday at the Levelland Fire Station to offer a summary of the 89th Legislature.

City council approves LPD grant application

The Levelland city council met this past Monday to consider agreements, the quarterly financial report, a grant proposal for LPD safety equipment, payments and roofing for the Levelland Fire Department.
