Lady Texans, Texans both beat Western Texas College

The South Plains College Lady Texans and Texans basketball programs both traveled to face each respective Western Texas College team this past Thursday, resulting in the Lady Texans winning 68-36, and the Texans winning 97-85.

Canon reaches 150 career wins with PACK in Amarillo

Levelland ISD’s tennis PACK competed hard last week, with varsity travelling to Amarillo, and JV hosting at home.In the Panhandle, varsity placed three times in the Gold and Silver Brackets, with an athlete reaching a major milestone.Varsity’s William Canon passed his 150-win mark this weekend.

1A District 5 Girls Basketball All-District honors announced

Following the conclusion of every 1A District 5 girls basketball team’s seasons, the All-District honors have been announced. Out of 25 possible selections, the Whitharral Lady Panthers received seven honors, and the Anton Lady Dawgs received five.

The Levelland Lobos baseball team hosted the Levelland WIT Classic this past Thursday through Saturday, posting a 3-2 record across five games.The Lobos faced the Tulia Hornets in their tournament opener, losing 7-4, after some defensive struggles.

The Levelland Loboettes softball team went on the road to face the Muleshoe Lady Mules this past Tuesday night, falling to them 19-11.The Loboettes held a 4-3 lead after the first inning, but Muleshoe would respond by outscoring them 13-2 in the next three frames.
