The Whitharral Panthers and Anton Bulldogs competed in the Boys 1A Region 1 Track & Field Championships this past Friday and Saturday at South Plains College, resulting in the Panthers winning their fourth consecutive Regional Championship.

The Whitharral Lady Panthers and Anton Lady Dawgs competed in the Girls 1A Region 1 Track & Field Championships this past Friday and Saturday at South Plains College, resulting in the Lady Panthers qualifying a female to State for the first time in 15 years.

Igo finishes third at 2A Golf State

The Sundown Roughnecks competed at the 2A Boys Golf State Championship Tournament this past Monday and Tuesday at the Lions Municipal Golf Course in Austin, resulting in a third-place effort by Isaiah Igo and a top 10 team finish by the Roughnecks.

Little Dribblers moving out of office to fully online

The Little Dribblers youth basketball organization recently announced that they will vacate their Levelland location in June to transition to fully online.The organization has resided at their location at 911 Houston Street, Levelland, Texas, since 1999.

PACK tennis seniors close out historic careers

The Levelland Tennis PACK’s season ended last week at Regionals in Lubbock, marking the conclusion of the careers of a historic senior class.The PACK seniors amassed 1,196 total wins, six All-State honors, 21 All-District honors and 43 Academic All-District honors.

Bobcats sweep Hale Center to win Bi-District Championship

The Smyer Bobcats squared off against the Hale Center Owls in the Bi-District Round of the 2A Division 2 Baseball Playoffs this past Tuesday in Littlefield, resulting in the Bobcats sweeping them in a best-ofthree series to bring home a Gold Glove trophy.

Ropes baseball run-ruled Tahoka to clinch the 2A District 4 Co-Championship this past Friday at Ropes High School. The Eagles finished the game 16-4, securing an early victory in the fifth inning.The first inning was a slow start, with both teams remaining scoreless.
