Loboettes win big on Senior Night

The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Snyder Lady Tigers this past Tuesday for the team’s last district game of the season which was also senior night.The Loboettes secured the tough 3-2 win.

Morton Indians falls to Crosbyton Chiefs

The Morton Indians hosted the Crosbyton Chiefs this past Thursday night for district play where the Indians fell, 42-24.The first score of the game came from a 40-yard run from Jaeden Alvarado to give Morton the early 6-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Whiteface Antelopes continued their undefeated season with a 62-12 road win over the Meadow Broncos in UIL District 3-1A1 high school sixman football action last Friday.Whiteface led 54-6 at the end of the first quarter and 62-12 at halftime when the game was called due to the 45-point rule.

Loboettes swept at home against Lady Patriots

The Levelland Loboettes hosted the Lubbock Liberty Cooper Lady Patriots in district play where they lost in a clean sweep, 3-0.The first two sets were both lost by a score of 25-10 with the Loboettes struggling to get things started offensively.

The local area teams competed in the UIL Region 1 Championship this past Monday and Tuesday where we had a few state qualifiers and teams place well.The Levelland Boys team placed 15th out of 29 teams in 4A with the team’s fastest runner being Saul Hernandez placing 19th with a time of 16:53.40.
