Following the conclusion of every 1A District 5 boys’ basketball teams’ seasons, the All-District selections have been announced.
The Whitharral Panthers received eight honors, and the Anton Bulldogs received five honors, out of 26 possible selections.
For the Panthers, Head Coach Brett Berger and staff won Coach of the Year, Nate Sansom won Most Valuable Player and Damian Rodriguez won Offensive Most Valuable Player.
Brent Robinson, Hudson Dobrovolny and Cooper Burns were selected to First Team All-District, and Greg Johnson and Ayden Dockery were selected to Second Team All-District.
For the Bulldogs, Isaiah Alafa and Shooter Campos were selected to First Team All-District, and Zian Martinez, Xavi Avalos and Tiny Juarez were selected to Second Team All-District.
