The loss drops the Lady Eagles to 14-13 overall on the season, and following it, Ropes Head Softball Coach Joey Ybarra gave his thoughts.
“We competed well against a very strong team and showed how much we’ve grown this season,” Coach Ybarra said. “Playing the schedule we have, it’s been good to see our girls prove they can hang with some of the better teams around. We’re continuing to learn and take steps in the right direction.”
They play their final matchup of their inaugural season on Tuesday in Brownfield at 5 p.m. against the Lubbock Titans.
