Vatican says no to female deacons

The Vatican recently issued a report saying 'no' for now to ordaining women as deacons, concluding that current theological understanding doesn't support it as a sacramental order.
LHS YELL members teamed up with NHS members to collect toys for LOVE Levelland as their December community service project. The two organizations donated nearly 100 toys and delivered toys last week to help make Christmas brighter for others. A Levelland resident. Tommie Hernandez,66, lost his life in a single vehicle accident occurred on Saturday evening, Dec. 6.The accident involved a 2007 Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup and occurred at the 1200 block of CR 200 in Terry County in clear weather conditions.

According to a U.S. Supreme Court decision, the new Texas congressional redistricting map can be used as legal challenges play out.With the Dec. 8 candidate filing deadline just around the corner, the new map will be likely be used for the 2026 midterm elections.
