Levelland City Council meeting set for Nov. 3

The Levelland city council will be holding their regular meeting on Nov. 3.A public hearing will be held at the beginning of the meeting to get comments on the Parks Department projects that have been approved and recommended by the Levelland Community Development Corporation.

Levelland Fire Dept. Report

Oct. 22Fire Department Engine 8 was dispatched to the 100 block of Tanglewood for a reported carbon monoxide alarm activation. Upon arrival, fire personnel made contact with the occupant and conducted an interior investigation using gas monitoring equipment.

Acting Texas Comptroller Kelly Hancock announced today the Texas Broadband Development Office (BDO) will soon submit its final proposal to the federal government to invest approximately $1.3 billion in federal Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment (BEAD) program funds.
