City of Levelland honors ACOs Goforth, Corder

A proclamation was signed Monday at the Levelland city council meeting honoring Animal Control Officers Crystal Goforth and Jon Corder to recognize and honor the memory of the officers who were tragically killed in in the line of duty in 2022.

Citizens State Bank offers home grown services

Citizens State Bank in October 2024, opened a depository branch in Levelland to offer customers a locally owned and community founded option to banking customers.

Grand jury hands down 15 indictments

The Hockley grand jury convened on Oct. 22 at the Hockley County Courthouse and sent down 15 indictments for individuals with varying charges that included evading arrest, possession of controlled substances, and assault. Indictments include: Aron Fitts, DOB Feb.
