Three dead, 14 injured in Austin shooting

Three people are dead following a shooting at an Austin bar on March 1.The shooter, who was among the dead, has been identified as 53-year-old Ndiaga Diagne.Video from bystanders showed the bar in sight with gunfire popping in the direction.

Paxton clarifies definition of health care providers

Attorney General Ken Paxton has issued a legal opinion declaring that the prohibitions under S.B. 14 making it illegal for health care providers to “transition” kids does apply to “mental health care providers” licensed by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council.
