ABC Pro Rodeo coming to Mallet

The ABC Pro Rodeo will be coming to Mallet Event Center in Levelland with three nights of performances on April 2-4.Offering high-energy actions, the ABC Pro Rodeo, sanctioned by the PRCA, features three nights of top rodeo athletes, thrilling events and family-friendly entertainment.
CAPITOLSPELLING BEE WINNERS-- Fourth grader, Michael Lawson, is the winner of the 2026 Capitol Spelling Bee. Lawson correctly spelled “cosmetics” to win the competition beating thirty-eight other spellers in an event that lasted five rounds. Runner-Up was Elias Perez and Alternate was Aiden Gomez. All three students will represent Capitol at the District Spelling Bee on Monday. Assistant Principals Katie Peña and Amy Pebsworth judged the competition. (Levelland ISD photo)

Anton FCCLA students had a successful 2026 Region 1 Leadership Conference with several punching a ticket to compete at state.The conference was held on Feb. 26-28 at the Abilene Convention Center, featuring competitive events, spotlight projects, and a theme focused on 'Roar and Explore.
