Crystal Forster is seeking the Hockley County Tax Assessor-Collector position in the 2024 March Primary Election. Forster and her family have been residents of Hockley County since 2017. That same year, Forster married her husband Anthony Forster who is currently employed by Forster Construction.

At the culmination of her term in January, Debra Bramlett will be retiring from her position of Hockley County Tax Assessor-Collector. Starting her career with Hockley County in 1990, she was considered part time for her first three years on staff.

2/21/2024 - DISPATCHED 1:40 P.M. - CLEARED 2:20 P.M. HOCKLEYCOUNTY The LFD received a call in regard to a backhoe on fire near the intersection of N. FM 168 and Kansas Road. Dispatch advised that the Anton and Smyer Volunteer Fire Departments were both paged twice with no response.
