STAYING WARM- The Capital Elementary School second-grader raised money to make 100 care bags for the homeless last week. With alittle help from family and friends. CAUGHT RECYCLING - LHS students were caught recycling this week at the high school. Using old construction paper to make Mosaic Texas Artwork for our School Board Appreciation meeting next week. Levelland is the city of Mosaics, Keep Levelland Beautiful challenged this group of kids to create mosaic art for School Board Appreciation Month after learning a Waste in Place lesson on recycling. In Photo is Sophomore Hannah Wilde Jones who is cutting out double L for her project.

LATE NIGHT WATER LEAK - The City of Levelland Public Works personnel responded to a major water leak on College Avenue Friday night. A city crew dealt with repairing the line while facing freezing temperatures. The water line was repaired and the hole filled before midnight.
