Lobo Sled Hill faces temperature problems

The community is currently at the mercy of mother nature as the yearly sled hill at Lobo Hill during the winter season is in question. The City of Levelland Parks Department has put together a yearly sled hill activity for the community that usually spans a couple of days.

12/20/2023 - HOCKLEY COUNTY HCSO deputies responded to the 800 block of 4th Street in Smyer regarding EMS personnel requesting deputy assistance. 12/17/2023 - HOCKLEY COUNTY The HCSO took a report of a sexual assault that had possibly occurred in Hockley County.

12/27/2023 - DISPATCHED 7:05 A.M. - CLEARED 7:17 A.M. HOCKLEYCOUNTY The LFD was contacted for a possible gas leak that was caused by a vehicle that struck a line near a business on West Avenue. Fire personnel investigated the leak and turned off the gas until Atmos could arrive on scene.
