Chamber monthly schedule released

The Levelland Chamber of Commerce has listed several meetings for the month of January. The chamber will be closed January 1. The Chamber Board Meeting is slated for January 3, from11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Levelland City Department.

2024 Primary Ballot By Mail applications open

The Hockley County Election Office is off and running for the planning of the 2024 Election Season. Election personnel reminds voters over 65 and voters with a disability who would like to vote by mail in 2024 will need to request and a complete a new Ballot By Mail application.

State sales tax sees slight increase for December

Texas Comptroller Glenn Hegar announced that state sales tax revenue totaled $4.06 billion in December, 3.2% more more than in December 2022. The majority of December sales tax revenue is based on sales made in November and remitted to the agency in December.
