Whitharral Panthers fall to Happy Cowboys, at home

The Whitharral Panthers took on the Happy Cowboys this past Friday on the road where the Panthers fell to the Cowboys, 54-40. It was a back and forth game all the way through as the Panthers were the first team on the board with a 23-yard pass from Jack Griffin to Nathan Samson gave them the lead.

The Whiteface Antelopes, ranked fourth among all six-man high school football teams in Texas by sixmanfootball.com, hammered the visiting No. 13 Klondike Cougars 74-28 last Friday in UIL Class 1A action.The game was called with 7:49 left in the fourth quarter due to the 45-point mercy rule.

On Friday, the Levelland Lobos traveled to Brownfield to take on the Brownfield Cubs where the Lobos won in a 38-0 blowout win.The first possession of the game for the Lobos ended in an interception close to the endzone where the Cubs took over.

Friday the 13 th was definitely good for the no. 4 Whiteface Antelopes as they hammered the visiting Boys’ Ranch Roughriders 60-0 in a 45-point rule shortened UIL Class 1A six-man high school football game last Friday.
