Ropes Eagles take down Smyer Bobcats at home

The Ropes Eagles hosted the Smyer Bobcats this past Friday during the team’s district matchup where the Eagles won, 63-6.The first score of the game came from a six-yard touchdown pass from Kade Franklin to Kaden Riker to make the score 8-0 after a made two-point conversion.

Sundown Roughnecks start district 2-0

The Sundown Roughnecks took on the Plains Cowboys this past Friday night on the road where they won their second district game, 48-12.The first score of the game came from the Sundown running game as they broke off a 35-yard run to take the lead making the score 7-0 after the made PAT.

The Smyer Bobcats hosted the Sundown Roughnecks this past Friday for both team’s district opener where the Bobcats fell, 42-6.The first quarter of the game it was all Sundown as they led against the Bobcats, 6-0, early on from their dominant run game.

Ropes Eagles remain undefeated in Tahoka

The Ropes Eagles went on the road to take on the Tahoka Bulldogs for the team’s district opener where the Eagles won in a close game, 35-34.Ropes started with the ball first where their possession ended with a pick-six from Tahoka to make the score 7-0 early in the first quarter.

The Levelland Loboettes finished a complete sweep of the San Angelo Maidens this past Tuesday on the road.For the first set of the game it was all Levelland as they were rolling on offense.The Maidens had to call a timeout late in the first set with the score sitting at 21-8.
