Morton Indians struggle against Wheeler, 40-8

The Morton Indians went on the road to take on the Wheeler Mustangs this past Friday where they lost their first game of the season, 40-8.It was a tough game for the Indians as they could not stop the Mustangs on the ground giving up 368 rushing yards and only 10 yards through the air.

Ropes Eagles take down Hale Center, 33-14

The Ropes Eagles went on the road to take on the Hale Center Owls this past Friday for their season opener where they won, 33-14.For the first quarter, Ropes was the only team on the board after they hit a 72 yard touchdown pass then got the two point conversion to make the score 8-0 early.
