LMS Reading and Math teachers attended a LASO workshop, under the direction of ELAR Coordinator Katie Pena and Math Coordinator Gracie Ruiz. The LASO Grant is a program anchored in five learning acceleration strategies: Strategic Planning to improve learning acceleration strategies, Instructional Materials to make up ground and master grade-level TEKS, Teacher Pipelines so teachers get more than 1 year of growth in 1 year from students, More Time which expands instructional time for more intense learnining, and Innovative School Models to incorporate all of the learning acceleration framework.
