CITY PARKS DEPARTMENT COMPETES AT TRAPS- The City of Levelland Parks Department competed in the Texas Recreation Parks Society -West Region (TRAPS) Parks Rodeo on Wednesday. The rodeo included trailer-backing, mowing, backpackblower, and plant & weed identification. Cities competing included Levelland, San Angelo, Abilene, Lubbock and Odessa. Parks Director Dustin Reichelt placed fifth in plant & weed identification. The staff is already looking forward to next year’s competition. The Parks Team included Dustin Reichelt, Juan Herrera, Joey Pena, Steven Hendon, and Robert Pegues.
