The Family Medicine of Levelland has gained a valuable new member of its medical team recently.
Dr. Jenna Grindle, MD, was welcomed to the clinical staff this week and is set to begin seeing and attending to patients on Wednesday, Oct. 1.
Dr. Grindle arrives in Levelland after being in practice at Texas Tech UMC, and prior to that, California.
She specializes in family medicine and is board certified in family medicine and obstetrics. She attended Ross University School of Medicine, graduating in 2015, and she also attended USC. She is a co-author with three other physicians for an article and comparative study published in the American Family Physician journal in 2018, ‘Staples vs. Sutures After Cesarean Delivery.’
Dr. Grindle, who grew up on the outskirts of Los Angeles, said she prefers a more rural and quieter lifestyle for her family. Upon becoming a practicing physician, she and her husband moved to the desert region of Southern California. She and her family would later move to Texas where she became a part of the UMC system.
She said the experience was rewarding at UMC, but when offered the chance for a more rural medical practice, she was quick to accept the position at the Family Medicine clinic in Levelland where she hopes to bring her experience and expertise to the patients in the local area.
Dr. Grindle, her husband and two sons, currently live between Lubbock and Smyer. To make an appointment with Dr. Gindle, call Family Medicine at 806894-7900.
