The 19th annual Ladies Night Out will be held downtown Levelland on Nov. 13.
The event kicks in the Christmas shopping season complete with doormen and horse- drawn carriage rides.
Shoppers spending $50 in any participating business will be entered to win a $250 shopping spree. Winning ticket will drawn at the gazebo at 9 p.m.
Participating businesses include Atchison’s Jewelry, K’s Glamour Square, Lou Dee’s Floral, Lobo Graphics, Sara Vasquez Hair Salon, Studebaker Events, Studio ‘K’ Décor, T & S Craft and Antique Mall, Wallace Theater, West Texas Optimal Health and Your Shop.
Skonberg to appear at Wallace Theater Nov. 12
Award-winning jazz artist Bria Skonberg will appear at the Wallace Theater on Nov. 12. She will take the stage at 6:30 p.m.
A Juno Award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, and songwriter, Skonberg has been hailed by The New York Times as the “shining hope of hot jazz.” A 10-time DownBeat Rising Star and recipient of the Legend Award from the Society for the Preservation of the Great American Songbook, Skonberg has performed at major festivals worldwide and recently appeared at Carnegie Hall. Her music seamlessly bridges classic jazz and modern style, delighting audiences with her charm, wit, and virtuosic performances.
