Dear Editor,
Just a note to say “whata bunch we have for first responders.” From the Fire Department, EMS, Police and Sheriff’s Department and Highway Patrol.
We were involved in a car wreck on FM 1294 and County Road about a month ago, and we were treated so kindly and professionally by each and every one of them. It takes a very special kind of person for any one of those jobs, and each of them was special.
They meet people at their worst and keep their cool. By treating people with empathy but still professionally, they make a hard experience a little easier.
