City council to hold regular meeting March 23

The Levelland City County will be holding its regular meeting on March 23 at 6 p.m. to be held at city hall.The council is expected to take action for the Levelland Community Development Corporation and Levelland Economic Development Corporation FY 2024/2025 audits.

Commissioner’s Court to hold special meeting

The Hockley County Commissioner’s court has a special meeting set for March 23 at 9 a.m. at the courthouse.Commissioners are expected to hear a presentation by Freese and Nichols concerning possible funding through the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) for the Hockley County Drainage Master Plan.
DUCKPLUCK --LHS YELL students spoke about their upcoming DuckPluck fundraiser at the Levelland Noon Lions Club. The YELL students started DuckPluck several years ago to raise money for YELL scholarships, and they’re working again this year to fund scholarships for next year’s seniors. The DuckPluck will be held on May 14. Purchasing a duck pluck offers a chance to win up to $750 in cash. The Noon Lions Club purchased 100 tickets to kick the fundraiser off. (Levelland ISD photo)
