The City of Levelland Parks Department will be holding the first of two cemetery cleanup events on March 9.
Cemetery personnel require wreaths, easels, ornaments and other objects not allowed to be removed from graves and temporary markers by March 9th. After March 9, they will be removed by Cemetery personnel.
Flower arrangements must be in an approved vase and saddle arrangements are permitted on the upright markers only. City personnel will not dispose of items in approved vases and markers.
For temporary markers, small flower arrangements must be picked up at the next available cemetery cleanup day which is three times a year and, or when a permanent memorial is placed.
The flowers then must be moved into an approved vase on the memorial.

All spaces in the Cemetery owned and operated by the City of Levelland are conveyed to the purchaser by license for the purpose of sepulture only, and the rights of the purchaser therein are subject to such rules and regulations as may be made, from time to time, by the City Council of the City of Levelland.
The rules and regulations herein contained have been found essential for the protection of the rights of all property owners, and no rules have been adopted except as experience has shown it necessary for the preservation of the rights of the owners.
