Filiberta Rincon, 61, passed away February 27, 2025. Services were held on Tuesday March 4, 2025 at 2:00pm at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Morton.
She was born August 22, 1963 in Cazadero, Sain Alto, Zacatecas, Mexico to Tomasa Longoria Zavala. Filiberta was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother.
She married Jesus Rincon Gomez on May 20, 1984 in Sain Alto, Zacatecas, Mexico and the had five children from this union. She and her family moved to Morton in 2002 from Mexico and has lived there ever since. She was a homemaker and a home health care provider for several years in Morton. Her hobbies were cooking for her family and friends, listening to Spanish music, dancing, knitting, sewing and spending quality time with all of her family and grandchildren. She also enjoyed going to church at St. Ann’s Catholic Church Parish in Morton.
She is preceded in death by her mother Tomasa Longoria Zavala.
She is survived my her former spouse; Jesus Rincon Gomez of Mexico. Daughters; Maria Nereida Rincon (Jose Gomez), Andrea Rincon (Jesus Zapata), and Jeaneth Rincon (Alejandro Galindo) all three of Morton, Texas. Sons; Diego Rincon (Tony Garza) and John Rincon (Idali Nevares) both of Morton, Texas. Sisters, Tomasa Samaniego and Vicenta Samaniego, both of Mexico. Brothers; Angel Samaniego and Cruz Samaniego both of Mexcio. Also a host of grandchildren. Under the professional care of Head Duarte Funeral Home and Staff of Levelland.
