Vicky Bawcom passed on to her final reward in heaven on August 13, 2025, at the age of 80. A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, at 2:00pm.
Vicky was born in Lubbock, Texas on May 6, 1945, to parents George Culby and Bonnie Marie Messick Keene. Vicky was married to her college sweetheart Jerry Bawcom on December 18, 1965. The Bawcoms have one daughter, Amy Marie, born in 1970.
Vicky became a Christian at age 11. Jesus was always first in her life. Vicky often played piano at the churches where the family attended. She and her family enjoyed many years of serving the Lord together.
Vicky is preceded in death by her mother and father, a sister, Betty Jorene Keene Neel, and a nephew, William Arthur Neel, Jr. She is survived by her husband Jerry and daughter Amy of Georgetown, nephew Russell Keene Neel of Marshall, TX., sister-in-law Connie Bawcom of Houston, TX., niece Jessica Bawcom Inoff and husband Darron of Houston, TX., niece Courtney Bawcom Garrett and husband John of Houston, TX., niece Brittany Bawcom Gaskill and husband David of Oklahoma, nephew Clint Bawcom and wife Taylor of Houston, TX., and many beloved aunts and cousins.
