Christmas time is here again and local residents are sharing what they want for Christmas.
Most don’t want anything material, just a desire to spend time with family and friends.
Joe Bryant from the Levelland Postal Service wants rest for the holidays.
“I would love some rest for Christmas,” said Bryant. “Working for the post office it’s our busy time of year.”
The holiday season means a lot to Bryant when it comes to family and God.
“Christ is very big with me and my family and so we definitely have a religious focus for us,” said Bryant. “At the same time it’s about really enjoying the season with family with good food and good times.”
Isaac Lopez from the Hockley County Credit Union wants one thing and one thing only.
“I want Texas Tech to win the National Championship,” said Lopez.
Lopez loves spending time with his family and eating some really good food.
Brandy Montgomery from the Hockley County Credit Union wants her family closer.
“I want my grandbaby closer to me,” said Montgomery. “My son and daughter-in-law who’s in med school, they live in Michigan and she applied to the residency program at Tech.”
Susie Mendez at the I Don’t Know Diner wants her family to be happy.
“I want my family to be happy and healthy,” said Mendez. “I lost my dad this year so I want him to look down on us so that we can celebrate all together.”
