Levelland High School HOSA students recently attended the 50th State Convention where they connected with other future healthcare professionals from across the state. Representing LHS were (front row) Hailyn Grant, Kamilah Baeza, Daniella Martinez, (back row) Kaylee Gray, Seren Zapata, Krystal Bunker and Jazzlyn Cervantez. During the convention, students participated in competitive events, attended leadership sessions, and gained valuable insight into healthcare careers. Martinez placed 9th in Medical Spelling; and Bunker received the Theodora Y Justice Memorial Scholarship for $675. Grant was notified that she was to the Covenant School of Nursing.
