Levelland ISD campuses are already gearing up for the upcoming school as teachers plan “back to school” events to give students the opportunity to familiarize themselves with staff and classrooms, and ask questions, particularly for new students never attending the schools. Levelland ABC has scheduled its back to school night on Aug. 11. Students and parents can visit the school according to last name with A-K from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; L-S from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and T-Z from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Capitol Elementary will hold its back to school night on Aug. 18. Second and third grades are scheduled for 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., and fourth and fifth grades from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. South Elementary will also hold its back to school night on Aug. 18. Second and third grade will meet from 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; a parent meeting in the cafeteria from 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and fourth and fifth grades, from 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Students are welcome to bring their school supplies.
Levelland Middle School will be holding an open house on Sept. 2 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and offer a chance for students and parents to meet the teacher.
