Maria Margarita Ochoa, 71, of Levelland passed away from this life on September 10, 2024.
Funeral service were held at 2 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Interment will be announced at a later date.
Maria was born in Edinburg, Tx to Salvador Sr. and Rita Moralez on March 23, 1953. She graduated from Levelland High School in 1971 and continued her education obtaining her associates degree from South Plains College.
She worked for South Plains Rural Health Clinic for over 16 years as a patient records clerk. Her hobbies included going to Casino Inn of the Mountains in Ruidoso, NM, playing games on her cell phone all hours of the night, watching her Novellas on Telemundo and cheering on her favorite team the Dallas Cowboys.
She is preceded in death by her parents Salvador Sr. and Rita Moralez and brother Johnny Moralez.
She is survived by her sons Ricky (Andrea) Ochoa and David Ochoa both of Levelland and George Ochoa of Alice Tx, three sisters, two brothers, nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and and host of nieces and nephews.
