Hockley Commissioners’ set special meeting Mon.

The Hockley County Commissioners’ Court will be holding a special meeting Monday, February 10, beginning at 9 a.m., in the Commissioners’ Courtroom located at the Hockley County Courthouse.

Agenda items slated for the meeting are as follows: Read for approval the minutes for the regular meeting held February 3; Read for approval all monthly bills and claims submitted to the Court dated through February 10; Considering and take necessary action to approve the Sheriff’s request to apply for a grant for body worn cameras; Consider and take necessary action to approve the District Attorney’s request to use SB22 funds to hire full-time Victim Assistance Coordinator; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Texas Department of Transportation Grant for Routine Airport Maintenance Program; Consider and take necessary action to approve the Annual Report for the Hockley County Memorial Library to be sent to the Texas State Library and Archive Commission; Discussion and potential action concerning approval of the Application for Use of Courthouse Lawn as submitted by the Levelland Main Street Program for the 2025 Food Truck Days that will be held on the third Thursday of each month beginning May 15 and ending September 28; Consider and take necessary action to approve the plat for Falcon Farms, Lots 1-83, an Addition to Hockley County, located in Precinct 1; and Consider and take necessary Official Bond and Oath of Michelle LaShay Flowers, Deputy Clerk, and the Continuation Certificates of Tammy Darlene Castro, Deputy Tax Collector and for Sylvia Ann Garza, Deputy Tax Collector all of the Hockley County Tax Assessor-Collector Office.
