Funeral services for Nancy Jane Stafford, 85, of Levelland, were held at 4 p.m. Monday, January 2, in the Krestridge Funeral Home Chapel.
She passed away December 31, 2022.
Nancy was born March 9, 1937, to Lowell and Minnie Hiberd, in Durant, Oklahoma.
She married Dave Stafford, in January of 1953.
Dave and Nancy spent the next 61 years building their family and legacy which includes four children, 12 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Levelland.
Nancy dedicated the early years of her marriage to tending to the house.
She spent 32 years in banking at Levelland State Bank.
Following her “retirement” she went on to work in nursing homes with her daughter.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Stafford; her daughter, Debbie Graf; a grandson, Kane Stafford; and a great-grandson, Dylan Baker.
She is survived by her three children: Brenda Baker (Bill), Karen McKenzie and Keith Stafford (DeAnna); 11 grandchildren; and 20 greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are under the direction of Krestridge Funeral Home of Levelland.
