CANDELARIA (CANDY) GOMEZ OROSCO
Candelaria (Candy) Gomez Orosco, 61, of Levelland, TX passed from this life on October 4, 2024. Visitation will be held Saturday, October 12, 2024 from 9:00am to 9:00pm. A Rosary will be held Sunday, October 13, 2024 at 7:00pm at Head Duarte Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00am on Monday, October 14, 2024at St. Michale’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
Candy was born on October 24, 1962 to Enrique Gomez and Herminia Palomin Landeroz in Levelland. She attended Levelland High School. She married her best friend and the love of her life, on July 18, 1987. She worked for Hickory House Retirement Center in Levelland for 17 years and as a Dental Technician Assistant for Trip Lab for 11 years. She loved growing and taking care of her rose bushes, floral garden and her indoor and outdoor plants. She baked cakes, pies and banana nut bread for her family. She enjoyed going camping and fishing with her husband and taking trips to the casinos in New Mexico.
She is preceded in death by her parents Enrique Gomez and Herminia Palomin, sister Connie Solano and brother Frank Gomez.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years Rudy Orosco, sons Bobby (Rosie) Orosco and Rudy Jr. (Veronica) Orosco both of Levelland, two sisters Carolina (Miguel) Bernal of Levelland and Isabel (Mike) Cortez of Snyder and one brother Enrique Jr. (Tina) Gomez of Lubbock and ten grandchildren.
