Simona Villarreal Chagoya, 68, went home to be with the Lord on May 24 , 2025 in Levelland, Texas. She was born on August 28, 1956 in Amherst, Texas to Leandro and Pola Ramirez Garcia.
After her first marriage Simona Chagoya, was blessed with six children. She became both parent and provider for all of her children and extremely strong and amazing woman.
Simona loved all of her children and grandchildren and would cook for all of them.
Her hobbies were shopping, cooking, cleaning, listening to her Tejano music “Los Bukis”, dancing, sitting outdoors on her front porch, watching her favorite soap operas on the Mexican channel like Los 12 Carazones, she enjoyed spending time with all of her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Simona was always when getting pampered by her children, she loved getting her hair and nails done. Her favorite color was red. Simona attended St. Micheal’s Catholic Church in Levelland.
She is preceded in death by her parents Leandro and Pola Ramirez Garciaand brother Fernando Garcia.
She is survived by her daughters Rose Marie (Alexander) Basquez and Berta Crystal( Kenneth) Chambliss both of Levelland. Sons, Jason (Leticia) Chagoya of Lubbock, Texas; Juan Manuel; Michael Scott (Ruby) Chagoya and Dago “Berto” Chagoya all three of Levelland, 21 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, brothers Leandro Garcia of Littlefield Juan Garcia of Colorado and Joe Garcia of Levelland.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM. Friday, May 30, 2025 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Levelland. Interment will follow at the City of Levelland Cemetery of Levelland.
