Lillian Sue Chadwick, 92 passed from this life on July 31, 2025 in Levelland, Tx. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at Head Duarte Funeral Home in Levelland with Pastor Cody Favor officiating. Interment will follow in the City of Levelland Cemetery. Lillian was born on December 1, 1932 in Ciso Tx, to Grover Clevelland Flaherty and Anna Elizabeth Summers Flaherty.
She married Barnett Chadwick in 1984. She had a gift for playing gospel music on the piano. She shared her gift playing worship music for the residents at the Levelland Retirement and Nursing Home where she was a resident for 20 years. She read her bible daily and drew multiple artworks in her sketch books. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of First Assembly of God Church in Levelland. The family would like to thank the staff of The Levelland Nursing Home for the love, kindness and compassion that was bestowed upon their mother Lillian Sue Chadwick while she was a resident at the home. Her memory will be greatly cherished by her friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her parents Grover Clevelland and Anna Elizabeth Summers Flaherty, spouse of 15 years Barnett Chadwick, four brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by daughters Rebeka M. (Randy) Bounds of Crosbyton, Tx and Anna J. (Terry) Todd of Ashford, AL., grandchildren Dylan T. Wood, Brittany Dagley, Zachary D. Wood, Valarie Irvin and great grandchildren Makenzie Cook, Reese Payton, Avery Payton, Ian Wood, Odessa Irvin, Cohen Dagley, Atlas Irvin.
