SANTA RAMIREZ

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Santa D. Ramirez, a beloved mother, aunt and friend who left us peacefully on March 20, 2026 at eh age of 86. Born on April 26, 1939 in Christine. Santa lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories and cherished memories, ultimately making Levelland her home.

Santa was a vibrant spirit know for her love of dancing in her high heels and her signature red lipstick, always ready to embrace the joy of life while being beautifully “dolled up.” She found great pleasure in savoring Chinese food, enjoying slapstick comedy, and nurturing her garden which reflected her vibrant personality and untiring soul.

Deeply rooted in her faith, Santa was a dedicated member if the St. Michael’s Guadalupana’s for many years as well as a Crusilliasta. She formed lasting friendships and found community with her church. Her unwavering spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who knew her and she will be dearly missed by family and friends alike.

She is survived by her children Eustolio Ramirez Jr. (Minnie), Flora Quintanilla, Rose Sumpter (Frank) and Felix Ramirez; brother Miguel Delgado; grandchildren Rebecca Ramirez, Renne Ramirez, Navida Quintanilla, Jim Quintanilla, Solida Quiroga, Joshua Lara Jessica Davis, Jordan Barker, Brody Sumpter, Erica Ramirez, Lenora Ramirez and Maribel Ramirez; eleven greatgrandchildren and one greatgreat grandchild.

Santa D. Ramirez will forever be remembered for her vivacious spirit and loving nature-an irreplaceable part of our lives. May she rest in eternal peace.

Santana was preceded in death by; father Felix Delgado, mother Isabel Delgado, brother Angel Delgado and sister Lenora Ralgado.

A funeral mass was held on March 27 at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Christine, burial followed in the Bautista Cemetery.
