Coach Bell earns 300th win as Loboettes beat Maidens

This past Tuesday night, the Levelland Loboettes basketball team hosted and defeated the Lake View Maidens, 83-16, marking Loboettes Head Coach Jacob Bell’s 300th career win.

The milestone win for Coach Bell also improves the Loboettes to 14-4 this season and 1-0 in district play. The Loboettes are a perfect 9-0 at home this season and currently boast a three-game win streak.

The blowout win was powered by three doubledigit Loboettes scorers including Brook’lyn Cornish with 23 points behind four three-pointers made, going 7/7 from the free throw line, London Branch with 16 points and Presley Smith with 15 points.

Other scorers included Brooklyn Escobar and Destynii Jones both with six points, Trinity Wafer with five points, and Jayln Sierra and Sydnii Joyce both with

four points.

As a team, the Loboettes shot 38% from the field on 72 total shot attempts, while shooting 40% from threepoint range on 15 total shots.

The Loboettes held Lake View to just 15% shooting on the night, while also holding them to 12% shooting from beyond the arc.

From start to finish, the Loboettes dominated every aspect of the game, which was the perfect way for Coach Bell to reach the milestone achievement. Congratulations to Coach Bell on 300 career wins.

The Loboettes wrap up their 2025 play over the weekend with a huge district matchup against Liberty. Then they’ll return to action in the New Year on Jan. 2 with a district matchup at home against Snyder at 6:15 p.m.
