The Hockley County Memorial Library is proud to announce this year’s Summer Reading Program, “Color Our World”. The program encourages children and adults alike to avoid summer boredom with a good book.
Registration begins Monday, June 2. Parents or guardians will fill out a registration form for each child and receive the first activity set. Children can be registered throughout the summer until July 18.
Each child will have their name displayed in the library to show they are participating. For each activity set completed and returned to the library before 4:30 p.m. on July 31, they will receive a prize.
There are eight activity sets this summer, which is about one set to be completed per week of the summer program. Be sure to take your completed activity set into the library to receive your prize.
