A celebration of life was held on Friday January 17, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. with a Graveside services Officiated by close family friend, John Carr, at the Sundown Cemetery in Sundown, Texas.

Jerry Lee Cox went home to be with the Lord January 15, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born April 12th, 1948 in Morton, Texas to Arlen and Ethel Cox. While attending school in Whiteface, at the age of 13 he met the love of his life, Sandra Peden. They were married November 23, 1966 and were inseparable for 55 years. They had two children and he was an amazing husband and Daddy.

Jerry was a Christian and loved God. He was passionate about giving kids an opportunity to attend White River youth Camp regardless of their family’s income and learn about God.

Jerry loved drag racing with his family, spending time at the ranch, participating with Sandra in competitive shooting, collecting cars and spending time with family and friends.

He was a kind and giving man with a heart of gold. He brought calm to so many of life’s storms. He will be missed by his family and all those whose lives he touched.
