Christmas home tour set Dec. 1

The Progressive Women’s Club will host their 24 th Annual Christmas Home Tour, “The Magic of Trees”, to be held Monday, December 1.

Homes included in this year’s tour include: the home of Ryan and Baylee Davis, located at 1824 N Highway 385; the home of Sergio and Amanda Chapa, located at 1625 Cactus Dr.; and the home of Ricky and Mayra Bryant at 201 Duval.

Also joining in the festivities will be musical entertainment provided by Maddie Rose, from South Plains College, on guitar and singing songs of the season, as well as two refreshment stops providing Christmas cookies by Melissa Young’s Levelland Middle School students and hot wassail donated by our local United Supermarket. A Hot Cocoa Bar and holiday treats will be provided on site by the Bryant family.

This year’s event will also feature a shopping opportunity at Kenna Trotter’s Studio K Christmas on the Square. The home tour ticket will provide shoppers with a 50% discount on their total purchase, valid the night of the tour only. Xi Theta Pi will also have their locally crafted Christmas quilt on display at this location. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $10, with the winner to be drawn at the close of the evening.

Specialty Christmas drinks will be available for purchase from Shelia Humphreys with The Dusty Road, which will be located downtown on the square. Come early to shop, or tour first and shop late.

Shopping times will be from 5:30 – 8:30 with the Home Tour times beginning at 6:00 – 8:30. Ticket prices are $20 per person. Tickets will be available the night of the event at Studio K Christmas on the Square, 812 Austin, or at the door of any of the homes on the tour that evening. Advanced tickets may be purchased from any Progressive Women’s Club member.

Out of respect for the homeowners, there will be no smoking, no small children and no public restrooms at any of the locations. All proceeds for this event will go back into the community in the form of scholarships and community service activities. For more information, please contact Lynette Major at 806-4385820.
