Keep Levelland Beautiful has scheduled its annual City-Wide Garage Sale for Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event is to encourage residents of Levelland to declutter, recycle, and come together for a community connection and reuse.
Those interested in hosting a garage sale, their location will be promoted on local community-wide garage Facebook pages can sign up on the Levelland Chamber of Commerce Facebook page or www.levelland.com/community- wide-garage-sale to access the form.
A running list of participating garage sales will be published on Facebook and the chamber website to help shoppers plan their day.
For those participating, garage sale signs are not permitted on utility poles or in public rights-of-way and the Chamber will promote the event on social media platforms, area garage sale pages and in the Thrifty Nickel. They may also be advertised in the Levelland News-Press or KLVT Radio.
